Is there sound in space?

No — space is very nearly a vacuum, and sound needs a material like air or water to travel through. In empty space there's nothing to carry the vibrations, so it's silent.

Sound is a wave of pressure passing through a medium. With almost no particles between the stars, there's nothing to push, so a scream in space truly makes no sound.

There are exceptions where a thin medium exists: NASA has 'sonified' pressure waves rippling through the gas around a black hole in the Perseus cluster, and spacecraft record radio and plasma waves — but those are converted into sound for us, not sound you could hear with your ears.
